Pre-Paid Benefit
A single lump sum contribution that offers the cover you choose from $1,000 to $10,000.
A Pre-Paid Plan gives you:
  • A one-off contribution option
  • A choice of level of cover to suit
  • Cover available from $1,000
  • The ability to increase your cover later on
These plans are not linked to any specific funeral home so your loved ones are free to make the arrangements. Payments from this fund are presently disregarded (up to $10,000) for calculation of the New Zealand Income Support Residential Care Subsidy.
To apply for a Pre-Paid Funeral Assistance Benefit:
  1. Download and print the FAB Application and Direct Debit forms.
  2. Membership of Manchester Unity is required. If you are not an existing member, download the Membership Application Form. A membership fee is payable in addition to the premium.
  3. Complete the application form(s) and post with your first installment to:
