On Sunday 2nd December, we attended the Grand Opening of the Nelson Tasman Hospice Dedication Garden and Grounds. We started off with several speeches welcoming and thanking everyone for their kind donations. We followed on with finger food and drinks. After the ceremony, everyone was invited to peruse the surrounding landscape areas and the remembrance garden. Our tree turned out to be a Manuka shrub in the remembrance garden number 51 which does not have a plaque. To overcome the non-named trees and shrubs they have placed two large boards one inside the foyer and another in an outside covered area showing where all the trees are planted.
